Shipping Policy

Welcome to Shrenith Patalay Art Studio. Every artwork is carefully prepared, professionally packaged, and shipped with the utmost attention to ensure it arrives safely, whether within India or internationally.

1. Order Processing & Dispatch Times

Because fine art requires meticulous handling and specialized packaging, orders are not shipped immediately.

  • Standard Processing Time: Original artworks are carefully prepared, packed, and dispatched within 3–7 business days after payment confirmation.

  • Custom / Commissioned Artworks: Processing and framing/drying times vary and will be communicated directly at the time of order placement.

  • Certificate: All original artworks and Prints are accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

2. Domestic Shipping (Pan-India)

We deliver to most serviceable pin codes across India through trusted premium courier partners (e.g., Blue Dart, Delhivery, DTDC, or Safexpress).

  • Shipping Charges: Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on the artwork's total weight, packed dimensions, and destination pin code.​

  • Transit Time: Once dispatched, domestic shipments generally take 3 to 7 business days to arrive, depending on the destination (metro cities vs. non-metro/remote locations).

  • Tracking: A tracking number and courier link will be emailed/SMSed to you as soon as the artwork is dispatched.

3. International Shipping

We ship fine art worldwide using recognized international logistics partners (e.g., DHL Express, FedEx, DTDC or UPS) with end-to-end tracking.

  • Transit Time: International deliveries typically take 7 to 14 business days after dispatch, depending on destination customs clearance.

  • Packaging Format: Every artwork is professionally packaged using protective, art-safe materials appropriate for its medium and destination to help ensure safe transit.​

  • Customs Duties, Taxes & Import Fees:

  • Important: International orders may be subject to import duties, value-added taxes (VAT), or customs handling fees upon arrival in the destination country.

  • These charges are levied by the recipient country's government/customs authority and are the sole responsibility of the customer/buyer. Shrenith Patalay Art Studio has no control over these charges and cannot predict their exact amounts.

4. Shipments Damaged in Transit

In the rare event that your package arrives damaged:

  1. Inspect Before Signing: If the outer packaging appears visibly severely damaged or tampered with upon delivery, please note it on the courier receipt before signing, or refuse the package.

  2. Lost Shipments: If a shipment is confirmed as lost in transit by the shipping carrier, we will work with the carrier to determine an appropriate resolution in accordance with our Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy.

  3. Document Immediately: Take clear photos and a continuous unboxing video showing the shipping label, damaged outer packaging, and damaged artwork.

  4. Contact Us: Notify us within 48 hours of delivery at shrenith.patalay@gmail.com with your order number and photo/video proof. We will review the claim and work with the shipping carrier to determine an appropriate resolution.

5. Address Accuracy & Unclaimed Packages

  • Please ensure all shipping addresses, postal codes, and contact numbers provided at checkout are complete and accurate.

  • If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, missing phone number, or failure to pay local customs duties/taxes, the customer will be responsible for re-shipping charges.
